MPJ Academy Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for all students, parents, staff, and community members of MPJ Academy. By enrolling, working, or participating in MPJ Academy activities, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Code of Conduct

For Students:

Attend classes regularly (5 hours per week), arrive on time, and actively participate in all academic and extracurricular activities.
Respect classmates, teachers, and all academy staff, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Follow all school rules, including dress code, classroom behavior, and conduct on school grounds.
Avoid any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination.

For Parents/Guardians:

Support your child’s education by encouraging attendance, participation, and completion of assignments.
Communicate respectfully with teachers, staff, and other parents.
Stay informed of school policies, events, and your child’s progress through regular communication with MPJ Academy.

For Staff:

Provide quality education and support to all students while maintaining professionalism and respect.
Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and personal matters related to the academy.

For Community Members:

Respect the values and environment of MPJ Academy when visiting or participating in events.

2. Academic Integrity

For Students:

Uphold honesty and integrity in all academic work. Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.

For Staff:

Ensure fair and consistent assessment of student work, uphold high standards of academic honesty, and address instances of academic misconduct in a supportive and corrective manner.

3. Pricing Disclosure

Tuition Cost: $825
Payment Plans: Available upon request, subject to terms. A one-time payment plan fee may apply.
All tuition and fees must be paid in full for graduation eligibility.

4. Message Frequency and Opt-Out

Message Frequency: Students, parents, and staff may receive periodic communications via SMS, email, or phone regarding school updates, events, or payment reminders.
How to Opt-Out: To stop receiving messages, reply "STOP" to any text message or contact support@mpj-academy.org with your opt-out request.

7. Attendance Policy

For Students:

Students are expected to attend all classes as scheduled. Excessive absences, whether excused or unexcused, may affect grades, progress, and eligibility for graduation.
Students are responsible for catching up on missed assignments and obtaining relevant materials from teachers or classmates.
Parents are encouraged to notify the academy promptly of any absences due to illness or emergencies.

8. Technology and Internet Use

For Students and Staff:

Use of school-provided technology, including computers and internet access, must be for educational purposes only.
Cyberbullying, inappropriate websites, and unauthorized downloads are strictly prohibited.
Personal devices used on school property must comply with academy guidelines. Unauthorized use during class time is not permitted.

9. Tuition and Fees

For Parents/Guardians:

Tuition and associated fees must be paid on time. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in penalties, suspension of academic access, or withholding of transcripts and diplomas until accounts are settled.
Payment plans may be converted to PayPal Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) for added flexibility. Contact support for details.
Tuition payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the financial agreement.

10. Withdrawal and Transfer Policies

For Parents/Guardians:

Written notice must be provided to the administration in the event of withdrawal. All outstanding fees must be paid before transcripts and records are released.
MPJ Academy will assist with transfers to other schools by providing the necessary academic records once obligations are met.

11. Health and Safety

For Students and Staff:

Follow all health and safety guidelines established by MPJ Academy, including policies related to illness, injury, and emergency procedures.
Report any unsafe conditions, injuries, or health concerns to the administration or designated school health officials.
Parents must provide up-to-date emergency contact information and notify the school of specific health concerns or allergies.

12. Extracurricular Activities and Events

For Students and Parents:

Participation in extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and school events, is a privilege. Students must maintain good academic and behavioral standing to participate.
Students and parents are expected to adhere to the code of conduct and represent MPJ Academy respectfully at all extracurricular events.

13. Media Consent and Photography

For All:

By enrolling or participating in MPJ Academy activities, students and parents consent to the use of photos or videos taken during school events for promotional or educational purposes, unless otherwise specified in writing.
Parents/guardians who do not wish for their child’s image to be used must provide a written request to the administration.

14. Amendment of Terms

For All:

MPJ Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to students, parents, and staff through official channels.

15. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in MPJ Academy, working as part of the staff, or participating as a community member, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the academy or termination of employment.
